Yakima Pharmacy Operations
This is a Full-Time
position responsible for assisting the Pharmacist Manager in the
operation of the clinic pharmacy in accordance with the goals and
objectives set forth and within the framework of the professional
Standards of Care and legal guidelines.
The Float Pharmacist position is based at our Pharmacy Operations
office in Yakima, WA, and will provide pharmacist services at any
of the YVFWC Washington State and Oregon pharmacies as needed.
Travel is primarily to our Washington sites located in Yakima,
Toppenish, Grandview, and occasionally to Spokane and Walla Walla.
There is also a possibility of travel to our Oregon sites in
Woodburn and Salem.
The Pharmacist in this position must reside in or be willing to
relocate to anywhere within the Yakima Valley between Prosser and
Yakima, WA. Relocation assistance available. Generous benefits

- Experience: Community (ambulatory) pharmacy
- Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Pharmacist
Floats are required to have active Pharmacist licenses in both
Washington (WA) and Oregon (OR). If assigned primarily to WA, the
Pharmacist Float must have a current WA Pharmacist License at the
start of employment, and obtain an OR Pharmacist license within the
first 12 months of employment. Washington driver's license and
proof of automobile insurance are required.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:Experience and knowledge of ordering, inventory and cost management
activities. Knowledge of Pharmacy practice law in WA and OR, with
the willingness to learn additional pharmacy functions on-the-job,
