Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (In Res, Adj) - Otolaryngology


University of California, San Diego


The Department of Surgery, Division of Otolaryngology, in the School of Medicine (http://oto.ucsd.edu/default.aspx) at the University of California, San Diego is committed to excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Department seeks a PhD researcher with post-doctoral experience in otologic/hearing basic science research.


This position includes participation in graduate student, medical student and resident research projects, teaching and collaboration with existing research faculty.


Qualified candidates must have:


• PhD in neuroscience or related field of study such as genetics, immunopathology, hearing science, or otology.
• Post-doctoral study in otologic or hearing basic science.


Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. Series will be determined by the successful candidate's skills, qualifications and experience.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
