Job Description

SUMMARY: This individual is a member of CPC’s leadership team and has primary responsibility for coordinating the organization’s efforts to measure, report and improve mission impact. The director will work in partnership with employees at all levels of the organization, other community-based providers and consumers of service to advance the organization’s use of data to make effective decisions and establish annual operating plans for the organization. The Director of Assessment and Outcomes provides staff support to the Board of Directors Planning Committee.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ·               
Be committed to the vision and mission of Community Progress Council.  Planning:Partner with members of the leadership team to develop and implement an annual planning process and yearly performance goals for the organization that adheres to the ROMA cycle.Monitor the implementation of annual goals defined in the agency strategic plan and department plans. Assist programs/administration in developing mid-course plan corrections.Collaborate with the leadership team to develop the Community Services Block Grant work plan(s) and completion of quarterly and annual CSBG/COPOS reports. Client Information Systems:·Integrate the use of client information system(s) to the extent possible to accurately report and measure CPC’s impact on self-sufficiency.· Establish and implement procedures for reporting an duplicated count of clients served by the agency.·Establish agency-wide policies, procedures and data definitions for Client Information Systems (CIS). Monitor department activities for compliance with agency-wide Client Information System (CIS) policies and procedures. ·          Collaborate with program leadership to ensure all staff receive initial and ongoing training on the range of relevant Client Information Systems and ensure compliance with CIS policies, procedures, and data definitions.   Reporting and Compliance:·          Work in collaboration with program staff to ensure that programs comply with funder reporting requirements and accurately reflect the impact CPC is having in the community. ·          Provide reports on program trends, outcomes, mission impact, and potential areas for advocacy to the CPC board of directors.·          Analyze data from various CIS and develop reports to assist staff and board in decision-making.·          Assist program staff in developing surveys, program goals and objectives, and outcomes measurements.·          Assist program staff in accurately analyzing program/outcomes data. Client Satisfaction:·          Develop an agency-wide system for measuring client satisfaction.·          Implement client satisfaction surveys and analyze results annually.  ·          Collaborate with program staff to evaluate the client satisfaction feedback and develop plans for improvement.  Needs Assessment:·          Facilitate the implementation of a community needs assessment every three years that uses quantitative and qualitative data to identify existing resources and gaps in service.·          Collaborate with program directors and members of the leadership team to identify specific topics for research.·          Integrate the Head Start/Early Head Start needs assessment process and data into CPC’s needs assessment process.  ·          Integrate data from the community assessment into the agency’s annual operating plan and specific department plans.  ·          In coordination with program directors, DAO will assign work to staff in other departments (i.e. requesting data or other information for reporting purposes, correcting data entry, etc.) and may identify opportunities for program change, expansion, or elimination.·          All other duties as assigned.
