Description
The Division of Otolaryngology/Department of Surgery at the Stony Brook University Hospital seeks to hire a full-time board-certified or board-eligible General Otolaryngologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

Responsibilities:
- Provide all-inclusive care to the patients
- Share care responsibilities and coverage with other team members
- Create personalized treatment plans and communicate them effectively to patients
- Adhere to all medical and ethical standards, guidelines, and regulations
- Be reliable, approachable, and work well with our team
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Interested in the development of a busy clinical practice and the mentoring of residents and medical students
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Medical Degree, MD or DO (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified/Board Eligible with the American Board of Otolaryngology. Meets the qualifications to practice medicine in the State of New York. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and educate patients effectively.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
An interest in research and scholarly activity is encouraged. Otolaryngologists with an interest in sleep medicine are also welcome to apply.
