Who YOU are:
You are an LVN or LPT who’s knowledgeable about Mental Health and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team. You treat members and staff with respect and advocate for what your team and members need. You enjoy working in the community and visiting with our members where they live. You’re comfortable transporting our members to appointments as needed. You provide hands-on nursing care and listen carefully to every individual’s needs. You know when it’s appropriate to escalate concerns with side effects or symptoms to the psychiatrist. You’re good at building rapport, providing guidance, and developing solutions for member’s overall well-being. You also enjoy coming back to the bustling office in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.

What you will do:
You will effectively support member’s medical and psychiatric needs. As an integral part of the team you will share your medical expertise with members and coworkers alike to help solve daily problems. You will be tasked for numerous responsibilities, including, but not limited to; administering injectable medications, teaching, and linking members to outside sources. Psychoeducation will be an important aspect of your daily routine and can be done at your discretion. This allows you to have the freedom and autonomy to design the day as you see fit. You will ensure that you are compliant with Telecare’s standards, while ensuring you stay within your scope of practice. As an outpatient LVN/LPT at Telecare, you will be exposed to various situations that will test your knowledge and aptitude that will allow you to continuously grow within the company.
