The OTRC (http://otrc.stephensoncancercenter.org) provides an exceptional infrastructure for conducting multidisciplinary, community-based, laboratory, mobile health, and clinical research. Its research and community outreach activities impact the entire state, with a special focus on the undeserved such as Oklahoma’s large American Indian, rural, and socioeconomically disadvantaged populations that experience higher rates of tobacco use and dependence.
The NCI-Designated SCC is Oklahoma’s only academic cancer center.
