Overview
American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), a membership organization dedicated to the advancement of women’s health care in Washington, DC, is currently seeking a Research Associate to provide support for the ACOG Practice Bulletins Project by reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting information in the scientific literature on current clinical and technological practices in obstetrics and gynecology.
Responsibilities
Qualifications

Bachelors degree is required; Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Public Health or other Health Sciences is highly desirable

A minimum of three years of experience with various medical databases, such as Medline are highly preferred

In depth knowledge of research methodology, tenets of evidence-based medicine, statistics, and medical terminology are highly preferred
- Knowledgeable about medical information retrieval, analysis, interpretation, have excellent written and oral communications skills and be knowledgeable about current issues related to women’s health
- Ability to organize electronic literature searches accurately and in a timely fashion to present information in a comprehensive and cohesive format
- Ability to work independently, adhere to timetables and prioritize, organize, and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to interact with a variety of levels of professional personnel
